He's just 16 years old, but Norwegian footballer Martin Odegaard is already famous around the world. He's set to be unveiled as a Real Madrid player after agreeing a deal with his club Stromsgodset.

Odergaard is used to the attention though - he played for Norway at just 15 years old! He's attracted interest from all the biggest clubs in Europe including Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

Being left-footed, skilful and incredibly quick, the little Norwegian has been compared to this man... Lionel Messi. He's got a long way to go before he reaches the level of the Argentine genius.

Odegaard has made a good start to his footy career. He's scored five goals and created seven assists in 23 appearances in the Norwegian Premier League.

He'll play for Real Madrid's B team at first. There he'll be coached by one of the greatest players of all time - Zinedine Zidane. Zidane, here in white, was a creative attacking midfielder so could work well with the brilliantly talented Odegaard.
