Armoy death

The sports minister has asked his department officials for an urgent report into the death of a spectator at the Armoy Road Race.

Hill McCook who was seventy-five, was hit by a motorbike at the weekend.

The Executive has given substantial funding to improve safety at motorsport venues over the past few years.

Mr McCook's son says nothing more could have been done to make the course any safer. Nicola Weir reports.
