Robin Cardwell - Portrush Lifeboat manager

Cave rescue

Two boys have been treated for hypothermia after being rescued from a cave on the north coast.

Rhyss Sufferin, who's 14, and 13 year old Matthew Forsythe were just minutes from drowning before they were rescued by lifeboat crew member Anthony Chambers. The pair were trapped for hours in a cave near Castlerock by the incoming tide.

Nicola Weir was there and spoke to boys' parents and the Lifeboat Manager in Portrush.
