The thousands of motorists who use the A1 route will know all about the roadworks that have caused delays while contractors remove huge chunks of rock in order to upgrade the bypass. According to one local representative the rock actually hit a council worker's car. As our reporter in the area Francis Gorman's been finding out, there is now an investigation into what went wrong.
