Gang targets pensioner

A woman in her eighties has been describing how she escaped from a gang of five masked men who attacked her home in county Armagh

The gang pushed 82-year-old Janet Jeanette into a chair before ransacking her house in their search for drugs and money.

While the burglars were distracted, the quick thinking pensioner fled to a nearby pub to raise the alarm.

This from our reporter in the area, Gordon Adair.
