Armagh Gaol redevelopment

The plan to give the derelict building a new lease of life.

Last year on BBC Newsline, we had an exclusive report about Armagh council's decision to put the city's old gaol up for sale. Today the prospect of a new lease of life for the derelict building came a step closer.

An international property developer has teamed up with the Prince's Regeneration Trust and they have exciting an plan which could see guests enjoying luxury accommodation, light years away from what used to be provided at the former prison.
