Rita McGlinchey

Voyeur victim

A woman from Derry has been awarded fifty thousand pounds in compensation for being spied upon while changing in a council leisure centre.

Rita McGlinchey had just come out of the shower in the Templemore Sports Complex when she realised someone was looking at her through a keyhole. And the man turned out to be a work colleague.

Now Derry City Council has apologised to the mother of two and admitted it didn't act quickly enough to protect her. Rita spoke exclusively to our North-West reporter, Keiron Tourish.
