All the management and other staff including those in sales, will see their pay drop by ten per cent. It had been feared that a significant number of people could be laid off at the North-West's largest employer. But the firm has said fewer than five jobs will go out of a total workforce of fourteen hundred. The move is part of a global cost cutting process which will result in almost three thousand job losses.
