Men sleeping out

Homeless

Staff and residents of the Simon Community spent the night out at a bus shelter in Newry to raise awareness and funds for the homeless.

Our Newry and South Down Reporter Francis Gorman was with them.

While he was there he spoke to Marianne McCaul, the Acting Manager of the Simon Community in Newry about what they hoped to achieve by sleeping out for a night.

Kevin O'Donnell

He also met Kevin O'Donnell, who has been with the Simon Community since soon after he was made homeless. He told his story and had high praise for the help and support he has received from the charity.
