'Roaring' Hugh Hanna

A man of God's word to some, a preacher of hate to others.

Because of his volume and power, the 19th Century Presbyterian minister was known as 'Roaring' Hugh Hanna.

Such was the controversy attached to his firebrand evangelism, the erection of his statue became a battle between orange and green.

Blown down by an explosion, the statue has been largely hidden from view - until now. Francis Gorman unveils more.
