Salmon are in Decline

Salmon Decline

Local fishermen are concerned at the sharp drop in the number of salmon.

So much so that one commercial fisherman has told BBC Newsline it's been his worst season in almost fifty years.

Anglers are also reporting fewer and smaller fish coming home to spawn. A major international study is now trying to find out why that's happening.
