Beyonce FaceTimes fan with rare form of cancer

Beyonce has FaceTimed a fan who's being treated for a rare form of cancer.

Ebony Banks, who is a high school student from Houston, Texas, has always said one of her dreams is to meet Beyonce.

Earlier this month, the school held an early graduation for Ebony in the hospital, whose nickname is Ebob.

Her friends then used the hashtag #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE in the hope of attracting Beyonce's attention.

A few days after the hashtag trended the singer surprised Ebony with a call.

A recording of the conversation appeared on Beyonce fan pages.

Ebony is seen lying in a hospital bed saying "I love you Beyonce" to which she replies, "I love you".

The school tweeted: "Thank you to everyone who helped #ebobmeetsbeyonce @Beyonce."

Cristal Depaz, another pupil at the school, said: "We try to make sure she has a smile on her face and to make her wishes come true."
