Radio 1's Big Weekend is happening in Exeter with thousands of music fans heading to Powderham Castle (28/29 May).
So what do we need to know about this city in Devon?
Well it's got a nice cathedral, a famous bridge and there was an ancient Cornish tribe here before the Romans blah blah blah.
But we've got the secret history and it includes Harry Potter, The Vamps and one of this year's headliners.
Exeter is home of Diagon Alley (maybe)
Exeter is where JK Rowling went to university so there are a few places here which have inspired locations in Harry Potter.
It's thought the narrow passages and cobbled pavement of Gandy Street in the city centre are the "real" Diagon Alley.

I thought I parked my wand here

Why can't I find the shop that sells candles?
There are Coldplay links everwhere...
"I was born and raised in Exeter so being part of Radio 1's Big Weekend this year means a huge amount to me personally," says Chris Martin.
"I lived the first few years of my life less than 500 yards from where we'll be performing so this couldn't be more of a homecoming for me."

Exeter's local boys (sort of)
Chris Martin went to Exeter Cathedral School before going to boarding school in Dorset.
His family owned a caravan and motor home company called Martins of Exeter until his Dad, Anthony, sold the business in 1999.
Chris Martin isn't the only famous Exeter boy
Chris Martin may be Exeter's most famous son but he is not the only musician to begin his life here.
Tristan Evans drummer from The Vamps was brought up in Broadclyst where his drumming career started out.

Tristan from The Vamps was brought up here too
Tristan was the lead drummer of his school's marching band by the time he was nine years old.
He was also in two school bands, Malicious and The Midnight Orange Monkeys, gigging at Mama Stone's in Exeter, a venue owned by singer Joss Stone's mum.
A royal and Olympic connection
Both Princess Anne's children Zara Phillips and Peter Phillips studied at Exeter University.

William and Harry's first cousin Zara, qualified in equine Physiotherapy in 2002, before going on to compete in the London 2012 Olympic Games with the Great Britain Eventing Team.
Her brother, Philip graduated in Sport Science in 2002.
Other famous alumni include Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, Will Young and Katie Hopkins.
Randomly, Michael Jackson was once Exeter City FC's director
This is not a joke.
In 2002 he was made a director of the football club on the recommendation of his good friend Uri Geller, who was a celebrity psychic and also a director of the club.

Jacko then went to Exeter City FC, in what has been described as a bizarre day, he drove onto the pitch before giving a speech to fans.
The club said it was great to have Exeter put on the map by a worldwide superstar.
Michael Jackson had admitted he knew nothing about football but loved the city.
It's terrifying too, but not at Powderham Castle
Exeter is the fourth most haunted place in the UK, according to our very reliable and scientific sources. Yes ok, the top Google search.
And it is Exeter Cathedral which tops the list of most ghostly places in the city.

Exeter Cathedral is said to be haunted by the ghosts of a monk and a nun
A monk and a nun stayed at the cathedral in the 14th century and fell in love.
When they had to return to their separate houses they didn't want to be apart so took their own lives so they could be together forever... haunting Exeter.

The memorial to the last three women found guilty and killed for witchcraft
And let us not forget, Exeter was the place where the last people in England were executed for witchcraft in the 1680s.
So if you don't want to bump into those three ghosts, avoid Rougemont Castle.
