The rapper left Jennifer Lopez in giggles after surprising her and fellow judges Harry Connick, Jr and Keith Urban on the US talent show.

The 38-year-old performed an a cappella version of Gold Digger (including the J.Lo name check) at the audition.
And yep - he made it. Kanye got his "golden ticket" through to the next round in Hollywood.

Later, Kanye headlined a political fundraiser for Barack Obama's Democrat party.

The rapper says he's had lots of support since announcing plans to run for election.
He thinks it's because he's seen as "extremely thoughtful" and "probably the most honest celebrity we have".
