Pakistan floods: How to help
A number of governments and aid organisations are appealing for donations to help those affected by the flooding in Pakistan.
The UK's Disasters Emergency Committee, an umbrella group which launches and co-ordinates responses to major disasters overseas, has launched a Pakistan appeal and donations can be made through it's website, or by telephone on 0370 60 60 900.
A list of humanitarian organisations that are accepting cash donations for flood response efforts in Pakistan can be found at www.interaction.org.
Information about organisations responding to the humanitarian situation in Pakistan may be available at www.reliefweb.int.
In the US, the State Department has established a Pakistan Relief Fund and has enabled donations to be made via US mobiles, online and via post.
Meanwhile, the United Nations World Food Programme has launched an appeal for $459m (£296m) to help the victims of the floods.
