Gang sends $19m worth of drugs by courier

Drugs worth $20m AUS ($19m; £11m) have been intercepted after being sent by international parcel courier, Australian police say.

Eight kilograms (18lb) of amphetamines were seized after arriving in Queensland and Tasmania from the UK on Monday.

Six men in Australia and Britain were arrested, as part of a joint operation between the two countries.

Donna Adams, Assistant Commissioner, Tasmania State Police, said it was their biggest seizure of drugs.
