Why is HMS Dragon heading to the Mediterranean?
HMS Dragon is a Royal Navy warship that is heading to the eastern Mediterranean, to help defend the British military bases Akrotiri and Dhekelia.
The ship is a week late leaving Portsmouth Harbour and has been deployed to Cyprus in response to a drone attack at an RAF base.
The Type 45 destroyer is capable of shooting down drones and ballistic missiles and it will be the UK's first and only warship in the region when it arrives.
BBC South's Steve Humphrey was there as the ship left the harbour on Tuesday afternoon and explained what we know so far about its deployment.
