Cardiff now and then: photos by Keith S Robertson and Jon Pountney
A rediscovered collection of photos of Cardiff in the 1980s is going on show at the Wales Millennium Centre. While clearing out an old studio, Jon Pountney found the pictures taken by Keith S Robertson, including this one of a shop in James Street, Butetown.
The same shop today - Pountney was inspired to revisit the locations and take modern day photos which sit alongside Robertson's in the exhibition
Robertson's photos show scenes and characters mainly from Splott, Adamsdown and Butetown, including Tony Bunce in his garage in Splott.
Pountney returned to the same location 30 years later to photograph Tony's daughter Leanne Bunce
