London 2012: Wingless plane arrives in Llandudno
A wingless plane touring Wales as part of a 12-week festival of cultural events surrounding London 2012 arrived in Llandudno, north Wales, on Sunday
Adain Avion is a mobile art space created from the fuselage of a DC-9 airplane, discovered and transformed by Spanish sculptor and designer Eduardo Cajal
Welsh artist Marc Rees is celebrating its 20th anniversary by bringing Avion to Wales during the Olympic summer
Around 600 local school children worked with community dance organisation Dawns i Bawb on a performance to welcome the plane to the town
The Llandudno town band were also part of the celebrations
Adain Avion has already visited Swansea and Ebbw Vale
The plane and its crew will make its next scheduled 'landing' at the National Eisteddfod at Llandow in the Vale of Glamorgan between 4-11 August.
