An inquest into the death of a mid Wales child who died in a skiing accident in France is due to open on Thursday.

Seven-year-old Carwyn Scott-Howell, from Talybont-on-Usk, Powys, died while on a family holiday in the French Alps earlier this month.

It is believed he fell to his death after getting separated from his family at the resort of Flaine, 38 miles north west of Chamonix.
