Pembrokeshire councillors run school protest gauntlet

Hundreds of protesters have gathered outside a meeting where controversial plans to close five schools in Pembrokeshire are being discussed.

Councillors are being asked to push forward the plans, which would include three new schools being created.

About 300 demonstrators were outside county hall ahead of Thursday morning's extraordinary meeting.

They chanted as councillors arrived at the meeting, while holding aloft banners.
