Welsh MP Kevin Brennan reflects on Irish roots
The Cardiff West MP Kevin Brennan says a recent visit to the Irish Parliament has led to him uncovering his family's past - including how his grandfather's cousin was wounded in the Irish civil war and fled to Wales.
According to the Labour MP - that decision led to his own father travelling to south Wales to find work - and meeting his mother.
He told BBC Wales' Vaughan Roderick on the Sunday Supplement programme more about his family history.
