Mary Rose: Swansea University scientists probe shipwreck bones

Help

A team of sports scientists at Swansea University are analysing bones recovered from the historic warship Mary Rose.

The pride of King Henry VIII's fleet, the ship sank in 1545 with the loss of nearly 400 lives.

The scientists are hoping to learn more about life in the 16th Century and to find out if some of the remains belong to Welsh archers.

Carwyn Jones reports.
