In Pictures: Zeta Jones and Douglas visit hospital

Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas arrive at the Cardiff children's hospital for a visit to boost its fundraising campaign (All pictures from Dimitris Legakis, Athena Picture Agency)

The Swansea-born star waved and smiled as she arrived at the Cardiff complex with her American husband.

Zeta Jones is patron of the Noah's Ark Appeal which has so far raised £7m for the hospital campaign.

The pair went into the hospital to meet patients and their families

It was Michael Douglas's turn to offer a wave as the couple left the hospital following their visit.
