Family tribute to Stirling street 'attack victim' Craig Logie

The family of a man who died following an alleged assault in Stirling have paid tribute to him.

Craig Logie, 36, died on Saturday at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.

His family said they had ben left "devastated" by his death.

Two men, aged 26 and 27, have been charged in connection wth the incident on Friars Street and appeared at Stirling Sheriff Court on Monday.

A family statement said: "Craig was a much-loved husband, son, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed.

"It is requested that the family's privacy is respected at this time."

Det Insp Rory Hamilton appealed for witnesses to incident, in which a 55-year-old man also sustained a serious leg injury, to come forward .

He said: "Our sincere condolences go to Craig's family and friends at this very sad time.

"Inquiries into the full circumstances surrounding this incident are still ongoing."
