Pope Benedict XVI's four-day visit to Britain will begin in Scotland on Thursday, 16 September.
The major event on that day will be an open-air Mass at Bellahouston Park on the southside of Glasgow which is expected to attract up to 85,000 people.
Roads will be closed, parking restrictions will be in force and some Glasgow Council leisure facilities will also be affected.

As well as roads being affected, some council facilities will not be open due to the Pope's visit.
Those attending the open-air Mass at Bellahouston Park will receive their "pilgrim passes" through their local Catholic church. The park will be opened to worshippers from 1000 BST on Thursday, 16 September and the Mass will start at 1715 BST.
On arrival at the park there will be security checks and people are being warned there will be queues.
