Harman backs tougher media laws
Harriet Harman has called for tighter media ownership laws in the wake of the Leveson inquiry.
Speaking on the Andrew Marr Show, the Labour deputy leader says the level of newspaper ownership by Rupert Murdoch is "too much" and "too powerful".
She said she was not in favour of government regulation of the press but did not feel that newspapers should not be able to opt out of any new independent system of regulation.
