Derry-Londonderry's reign as City of Culture begins

The New Year marked the beginning of Derry-Londonderry's reign as the UK's first City of Culture.

There are high hopes that the year-long programme of events will help boost the local economy as well as the regional arts scene.

BBC Newsline's north west reporter Keiron Tourish has been speaking to some well-known names who will be involved in 2013's various events.
