Londonderry's 'peace bridge' has been officially opened by the NI first and deputy first ministers.

Started in January 2010, it cost £14m to build and its construction took 18 months.

The bridge covers a distance of 312 metres and will carry pedestrians and cyclists to and from the cityside and Waterside.

A camera placed on top of the City Hotel captured its 18-month construction.
