Kevin Nolan is out of the country with Newcastle United
Newcastle United captain Kevin Nolan has been warned he faces being banned from driving.
He was clocked doing 65mph in a 30mph zone while driving his Range Rover in Longbenton, North Tyneside, last May.
The case at North Shields Magistrates' Court was heard in his absence after the 28-year-old's barrister said he was out of the UK on training duties.
A district judge said the case against Mr Nolan was proven and adjourned the hearing until February for sentencing.
