Director James Burke-Dunsmore played Jesus in the 2012 production
An open-air play depicting the days leading up to Jesus' arrest, death and resurrection is taking place in central Brighton over the Easter weekend.
The Passion of Christ will take place on the lawns of St Peter's church, York Place.
The performances begin at 14:00 GMT on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Writer and director James Burke-Dunsmore has been working with professionals and a local amateur cast for the third such production.
The role of Christ is being played by Mathew Howell, who was among 86 actors who auditioned for the part.
Almost 200 people have volunteered to take place in the play, the organisers said.
