Plans to transform a derelict Victorian brewery into a 300-seat auditorium and 222 apartments have gone on show.
Comments are invited on proposals to convert the Tolly Cobbold site in Ipswich.
The multi-million-pound scheme would also accommodate the town's transport museum and have space for a small retail unit.
Clive Thompson, of developer Pigeon Investments, said work could start as early as this autumn.
The plans went on public display at the Brewery Tap pub on Cliff Road, with comments due in by 29 January.

The auditorium would be built in the old four-storey brewery, seating up to 300 people
Mr Thompson said the scheme included work on the surrounding area as well as the recovery of the old building.
"By putting this whole scheme together within a four-and-a-half acre site, means that we can create a new neighbourhood here, and it's a very special moment for the brewery," he said.
"We made great efforts to recover this about four years ago with a retail scheme, but the retail market collapsed and we've been working very, very hard to find an alternative deliverable scheme which will mean the recovery of the old building."
Developers hope the proposals will then go before Ipswich Borough Council on 10 February.

Brewing had taken place on the site since 1746 and the main brewery building dates from 1894-96.
Mike Cook, planning co-ordinator at Ipswich Civic Society, said: "We are delighted that there would be a many-seater auditorium for general use in the restored brewery, and this would be supported by an apartment block.
"We think it's good and it would support the rejuvenation of the south end of the Ipswich Docks."

The Cliff Quay Brewery has been derelict since 2002 when Tolly Cobbold was bought by Ridley's of Essex

The site, as it was last year, has been targeted by vandals
