The third Norwich LGBT Pride celebration took place on 30 July 2011, as the city streets were taken over by a colourful procession.
The organisers use music, debate, sport, history, arts and entertainment to raise awareness of LGBT issues and create a party atmosphere for everybody.
This year's procession was launched by the Lord Mayor of Norwich who also greeted the parade as it reached its conclusion outside Norwich City Hall.
Chairperson of Norwich Pride Julie Bremner said: "Year on year we have built Pride into the fabric of this fine city, raising the visibility of the LGBT community through activity on the day as well as through other related events and spin off groups."
Norwich's first Pride event took place in July 2009 when around 1,000 people took part in the procession.
Local singer-songwriter Sean Seraphim performed his song Quiet Riot, the official song of Norwich Pride 2011, outside The Forum as the procession drew to a close.
