Black cab 'hit squads' target illegal London minicabs

Some black cab drivers have taken the law into their own hands by targeting illegal minicabs in London's West End, according to the Inside Out programme.

Cabbies have formed 'hit squads' to track down illegal drivers and roadblock them, as they seek to preserve their night-time trade.

Inside Out reporter Louise Hulland talks to Garrett Emmerson, Transport for London's chief operating officer, and Inspector Julian Collinson from the Metropolitan Police's cabs enforcement unit.
