Contenders for the Marsh Fountain Award of the Year 2012 include the new fountain at Leicester Square created by Ustigate. The 40-jet sequenced fountain is in the heart of London's West End and surrounds the existing 19th Century William Shakespeare fountain.
The Woodberry Park fountain in Finsbury, central London, is made up of a five metre diameter stainless steel top bowl with three water chutes and three pools. It was designed by Murdock Wickham and completed in February 2012. The winner of the award will also be announced on Tuesday by the Duke of Gloucester.
