Boris Johnson: London transport fare cuts 'will harm investment'

The Conservative London mayoral candidate Boris Johnson has said a promise to cut Tube and bus fares was "not achievable" without jeopardising vital investment.

He said if re-elected he would increase the number of police on the beat by 1,000.

Londoners will go to the polls on 3 May.
