Free travel at weekends and a minimum five-year prison term for knife crime are put forward by the BNP's candidate for the London mayoral election.

Carlos Cortiglia said free travel and a change of law were "aspirations".

Asked how the British National Party could bring about legislation change without members in parliament, he said: "The mayor has a political influence to set the political agenda."
