A Lincolnshire royal wedding cake maker's memories

Help

With the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton approaching, a Lincolnshire cake maker, who provided a cake for the wedding of Charles and Camilla, remembers what was involved preparing for the big day.

Six years ago Dawn Blunden, from Woodhall Spa, spent 130 hours making the royal wedding cake.

For the last 36 hours she needed to work in secret and persuaded the local minister to let her use the nearby Methodist church.
