A man accused of the murder of two people at a house in Canterbury has been remanded in custody.
Foster Christian, 53, of Dickens Avenue in the city, appeared before Medway magistrates via a video-link.
Simon Gorecki, 47, and Natasha Sadler, 40, were found dead at a property in the same street.
Mr Christian is also charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm. He will appear before Maidstone Crown Court on 5 April.
Kent Police later charged Naomi Toro, 35, of Keyworth Mews in Canterbury, with assisting an offender. She is due to appear before Dover magistrates on 2 April.
Another woman, aged 18, who had been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, has been released on bail until 3 May.
