A 14-year-old boy was rescued by firefighters after falling down a Gloucestershire cliff face while climbing with his father.
Crews from Lydney and Coleford fire stations were called after the boy fell about 50 ft down the Symonds Yat cliff in the Wye Valley.
The boy injured his ankle and had to be brought to the top of the cliff by a specialist rope crew.
He was taken to hospital after an operation lasting two hours.
