Roadrunner Coaches said it believed the driver was checking a ticket machine module
A bus driver filmed apparently using a handheld device while driving a coach has been sacked.
Cyclist Dave Sherry captured the footage of the bus in motion on a helmet-mounted camera two weeks ago in Harlow, Essex.
Roadrunner, the coach firm involved, denied its driver was using a mobile telephone.
But a spokesman for the firm said the driver's conduct was unacceptable and confirmed he had been dismissed.
It said the driver was using a handheld ticket device when he was filmed by Mr Sherry, himself a bus driver in London.
