
Caroline Nightingale admitted two counts of fraud
A 45-year-old who took £690,000 from two women she befriended online has been jailed for three years.
Caroline Nightingale, of Sandpiper Close, Stratford-upon-Avon admitted two counts of fraud at Warwick Crown Court.
The court heard she fabricated family emergencies between March 2011 and September 2015 to convince the victims to give her money.
One victim, from Warwickshire, lost £512,380, and another, in Greater Manchester, gave £177,474.

A confiscation order has also been issued to recover £650,000.
Dominic Kennedy, from Warwickshire Police, said: "These were heartless crimes which show how easy it is for people to be taken in by online sob stories."
