
Unemployment in Bedworth is below 5%, which is under the national average.
More than 1,500 people have attended an event in north Warwickshire offering 220 jobs and 50 apprenticeships.
The jobs fair at Bedworth Civic Hall was organised by Dan Byles, Conservative MP for north Warwickshire and MP for Nuneaton Marcus Jones.
The jobs on offer included posts at Jaguar Land Rover, Greggs and Birmingham Airport.
Latest government figures show there are more than 18,000 people out of work in Coventry and Warwickshire.
In Bedworth unemployment is below 5%, which is under the national average.
Mr Jones said numbers were still too high and the government could not be complacent.
