Parent reacts to George inquiry

Help

A parent whose child went to the Little Ted's nursery where a Plymouth nursery worker sexually abused children says they were "shocked" by what the inquiry into the incident revealed.

The anonymous parent says they were "devastated" by the incident and "shocked" that the inquiry found the nursery "provided an ideal environment" for her to abuse.

Vanessa George, 40, from Plymouth, was jailed last year for a minimum of seven years after admitting abusing toddlers at the nursery and photographing it.

The review into abuse at Little Ted's nursery found that a lack of formal staff supervision was partly to blame.
