The driver died at the scene when the car burst into flames
A man killed when the car he was driving exploded in a "ball of fire" on the M11 motorway has been named.
Foyzul Islam, 43, of Marlow Close, Rothwell, Northamptonshire, died when the Mercedes was engulfed in flames at 08:10 GMT at junction 12, near Barton in Cambridgeshire on Wednesday.
A bomb disposal team was sent to the scene. Police said there was nothing to indicate any other vehicle had been involved.
The road was closed for about 15 hours.
The body and car were recovered by 16:15 GMT.

Police said although formal identification had not yet taken place, they were "satisfied" the driver was Mr Islam and his family had been informed.
One driver who witnessed the incident said: "All you could see was a huge ball of fire with black smoke billowing up out the top of it."
It was "really shocking", he added.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined but a police spokeswoman said detectives were "not ruling anything out".
