In pictures: Urban Paint Festival 2012 in Bristol
Some of the graffiti at Upfest 2012, which is taking place over the Queen's Diamond Jubilee weekend, had a distinctly royal edge.
About 250 graffiti artists are taking part in the festival in the Southville area and some have travelled from as far as Colombia and South Africa to take part.
Most of the artwork was created on shop shutters and derelict buildings, but this van also became a canvas.
The festival, which is in its fifth year, will raise funds for NACOA, a charity which supports children whose parents are alcoholics.
Graffiti tutorials are also being held for those who want to turn their hand to painting.
