Casino 36 is based in Temple Street, Wolverhampton
A £7.6 million city casino has opened, creating 100 new jobs.
The launch of Casino 36 in Wolverhampton comes after the government granted licences for 16 venues across the country, following the Gambling Act 2005.
Wolverhampton City Council was one of eight councils given permission to open a small casino.
Councillor John Reynolds said the attraction in Temple Street would be a "real asset".
