A community police officer who lied about her qualifications has been ordered to do 12 months community service.
At Birmingham Crown Court Samantha Skinner, 24, admitted fraud.
She had altered her NVQ Level 1 to a higher qualification when applying to be a full-time officer with West Midlands Police.
Ms Skinner had worked at Walsall Police Station but resigned, ending a seven-year career.

She was suspended from West Midlands Police last year when the false qualification was discovered and would have been due to face an internal inquiry if she had not resigned.
Ch Insp Kevin Doyle, from West Midlands Police, said: "Her behaviour fell short of the standards we expect from potential recruits and this was especially disappointing given she was already part of our organisation."
Ms Skinner was also handed a 12-month supervision order.
