Albi the shark is more than two metres long and weighs 120kg
A shark has been transported more than 120 miles across England in a bid to encourage him to breed.
Albi, a two metre-long (6ft) nurse shark, was taken from the National Sea Life Centre Blackpool to the attraction's sister site in Birmingham.
He was lifted out of the water using a sling and transported in a lorry fitted with a specially-designed tank.
It is hoped he will breed with the Birmingham centre's female nurse shark Florence Nightingale.
The move took place as part of the chain's wider breed rescue scheme.
