
A lorry driver has been seriously injured in a collision involving two HGVs that closed a major motorway for eight hours.
The crash between Junction 13 and 14 on the westbound carriageway of the M4 in Berkshire was reported just after 02:30 GMT.
South Central Ambulance said that a first lorry hit the central reservation crashing into a second HGV.
One of the drivers was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
There were queues of up to nine miles on the motorway as investigations took place.

Thames Valley Police has appealed for witnesses to come forward.
No arrests have been made.
